Optimal Control

The AutoClimate controller employs the same advanced control strategies used by commercial growers to keep the growing environment in perfect balance. Unlike simple thermostat type controllers, these rules continuously adjust the fans, heaters, coolers, lighting, CO₂ injection and foggers in an intelligent and integrated way to achieve an ideal environment without wasting valuable CO₂ or heat

Long Life

The AutoClimate controller and CO₂ sensor may be mounted outside the growroom where humidity is lower and temperatures cooler - this will enhance the life of the electronic equipment and allow you to monitor what is going on without entering the grow room. Remember, that periods of darkness should not be interrupted by switching on lights or opening doors even briefly.

Enhanced plant yield

Research has shown that plant yield can be significantly increased by raising CO₂ levels whilst AT THE SAME TIME maintaining ideal growing conditions. The autoclimate looks after all of these functions in an INTEGRATED way thus ensuring that CO₂ is never injected at inappropropriate times or inappropriate levels.

AutoLearn

The AutoLearn function enables the controller to learn from previous CO₂ doses in order to adjust the dosing process to avoid wastage from overdosing.

AutoPurge

In the event of dangerously high humidity in cool weather (ie reaching a level where fungal infections easily take hold) the controller will cycle the fan on for short bursts to remove the humidity whilst at the same time increasing the heating to warm and dry the incoming fresh air.

The AutoClimate controller is available as complete kitset with and without the CO₂ or PC interface options:-

1 x CO2 sensor

In addition you will need CO₂ gas bottles, gas regulator and solenoid valve or gas generator. If you can't buy these locally contact us.

1 x Light sensor (needed if you use sunlight rather than grow lights)

The optional PC interface allows connection to PC computer to allow the readings and settings to be viewed and set, alarms to be actioned and data to be logged to the PC hard drive for graphical viewing and analysis. If the PC has a MODEM connecting it to the telephone network then alarms may be dialled out to a pocket pager or cell phone.
