The AutoVent I controller
monitors temperature and humidity to operate the ventsand heater to try to maintain the set point
temperature and humidity for ideal growing conditions. Full rain and
wind overrides are available using a range of sensors from professional
rotary wind speed and direction sensors to a low cost wind switch.

Both heating and venting set-points may be automatically modified (within user set
limits) in order to help control humidity. In humid, cool
weather the heating set-point will be automatically raised (within
user set limits) to help dry the air. Similarly, the venting
set-point will be automatically lowered to allow the moist air to
escape.

A "purging
sequence" may be set to help keep humidity down during cold
weather when the vents are closed. When enabled, the vents
will nudge open briefly (as set by the grower) whenever high humidity is detected.

For low humidity conditions, the venting set-point will
automatically increase to help trap the moist air inside.
Of-course, all of these functions are totally under the control of
the grower.

Rain sensor
- heated capacitive rain sensing plate to close (or partially close
vents in the event of rain)
Wind sensor options
- simple pioted wind switch (suitable for sheletered areas with
moerate climates)
- rotary wind speed sensor (suited to exposed houses where wind direction
is felt to be unimportant)
- full professional rotary wind speed and wind direction sensors with
long-life bearings. Ideal for all types of greenhouse providing
maximum control
As you can see from the picture, the controller provides full manual
control of vents keeping you in control at all times.
